The attempts to repress the parents who lost children due to preventable collapse of schools in the Sichuan earthquake is yet another REASON that should be added to the home page of this site.
Surely, the parents have a right to petition the government to find out who was responsible for shoddy construction and/ or maintenance of the schools that collapsed and to hold them responsible.
Otherwise, among other things, the same will continue to happen again and again in China’s seismically active zone.
